Psalm 25:5 – “Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long.”
This scripture is a good reminder of our constant need for God’s guidance in our daily life. King David´s pattern shows us that how he needed God’s guidance all through the day as he faced the challenges of life. He requested God to Lead him and Guide him throughout the day. David looked at God the father for the directions and his heart’s desire was to wait on dependent faith throughout the entire day. And God always guided David and answered his requests.
In the same way my dear brothers and sisters in Christ, May this be our heartily desire as well. We being Christians should request our God our Redeemer to help us and guide us often as we start our day. Having a dependent Faith on God and letting Christ be first in your thoughts in the morning and the last in your thoughts at night will help you face the daily challenges of life and God will guide you how to overcome the obstacles in our daily routine. Distractions can pull our attention away from Him but we should remind ourselves to pray: “Lord, all through this hour and day be my guide and help.”
And you will see when we put our requests in God’s hands and trust Him, He will never let us down and He we will guide us and help us throughout the days and nights. And this is what we should practice in our daily life routine. May God bless us and help us in following His word. Amen
